The definition of research

What is research? defined by Hussey&Hussey (Business Research, Macmillan Press Ltd, Basingstoke) -> Who the fuck are these people and why should I even listen to them?

It is systematic and methodical
research increases knowledge

*Always thorougly evaluate the question before starting your research

1. Your investigations must be thorough and rigorous at all stages of the research process
2. It must be organized for it to be conducted in an efficient manner and to make optimum use of the opportunities and resources available
3. If it is to provide a coherent and logical route which leads to a reliable outcome, it must be conducted systematically using appropriate - But oh my sir, isn't the word "appropriate" ratha relatiive? says me the Sophist. I should have chosen a Philosophy major..- methods to collect and analyse the data.
4. It must address a specific problem or issue, referred to as the "research problem" in order to have a definable objective for the research ativitiy(This one should be at the top)

1. objective 2. organize it (to be efficient)3. be systematic (to get the cool, logical outcome) 4. do it with passion
