Learning approaches

1. Classical conditioning: the role of linking a stimulus and response.

2. Operant conditioning: the impacts of punishment and reward
3. The experimental approach: the need for a process of learning to be completed.
4. Humanistic approach concentrates on how learning can be facilitated.
(Carl Rogers approach: Leaners need to learn about the process to be able to cope with the impact of the changes)
5. The cognitive approach: a series of complex mental processes.
